By train:

There are good Intercity and EC train connections to the stations of Bressanone and Bolzano. From there you can take a linebus or a taxi cab to reach Ortisei in Val Gardena.

By airplane:

The next airports are Bolzano, Innsbruck, Verona and Bergamo.
